Most daffodils grow well through Zone 7 in the southeastern U.S. The following do well all the way through Zone 8, which includes what is often called the coastal South, a band that runs from Savannah down to northern Florida, continues along the Gulf Coast, and moves inland as it passes New Orleans and Houston. We don't recommend daffodils in southern Zones 9 and 10.
The daffodils below show an amazing tolerance for heat and humidity. They benefit from a light pine-straw mulch after planting and must be watered regularly (when rainfall is scarce) from early fall until the flowers fade.
