Daffodil Barrett Browning
The petals are pure white with prettily frilled orange-red cups. Very free-flowering and early, and one of the best for naturalizing. Performs well even in the coastal South.
Barrett Browning has been around for more than 50 years and is still tremendously popular. Its color is very bright and there are no other early-blooming daffodils with this striking color combination.
This daffodil is named after the famous poet Elizabeth Barrett Browning : ' "Yes" I answered you last night; "No" this morning, Sir, I Say. Colours seen by candlelight, Will not look the same by day.'
