Daffodil Professor Einstein
Professor Einstein is almost 60 years old but remains one of the best perennializing daffodils we know. It's also graceful, with flexible stems that wave in the wind. None of the newer hybrids has improved on its color.
The orange cup may burn a little in harsh sunlight, but this is only visible from close up. From a distance it remains vivid orange eyes that stand out in the landscape.
