Colorblends has created a website that features all of the Colorblends selections but has no pricing, no Colorblends branding and no Colorblends contact information. There are many ways to use this tool to sell flowerbulbs and help your clients make their selections:
- Email your clients a list of selections that you create through the My Favorites page of the website.
- Present your clients with a print-out of your favorites from the website.
- Access the website online from any computer and review the possibilities together.
- Send your clients to the website to make their own selections that they email to you.
Sometimes simpler is better. Our double-sided, 17" x 22" marketing flyer shows a selection of our most popular tulips and daffodils. It's ideal for clients who need fewer choices, not more, and for landscape contractors and designers who want to keep their bulb program focused. Flyers are shipped folded for portability and easy insertion into a standard (#10) business envelope.
We ship large orders (generally $2,000 and up) on pallets. Your bulbs arrive in one neat package, with no risk that a box will be delayed in the UPS system. The only catch is that you need a means of getting the pallet off the truck. If you're placing a large order, please let us know if you can take a pallet.
For pallet orders in which each client or location is to receive many hundreds or thousands of bulbs, we can label our heavy-duty plastic shipping crates with the client name or job site. The labeling makes it easy to break down the pallet when it arrives, and the shipping crates make loading the bulbs onto your trucks a snap. The only thing harder than ordering a variety of bulbs for several clients or job sites is remembering who gets what when the bulbs arrive. We can solve this problem for you by printing a packing list that shows, line by line, how many of each bulb go to which location. The itemized packing list also simplifies billing, providing you a clear list of how the bulbs were distributed and what your cost was for each item.
If you need a particular bulb variety or a colorblend that is not in our catalog, let us know and we may be able to help. We accept special orders for almost any commercially available flowerbulb (in multiples of 100) through September 15. After that date, we may still be able to get what you need, and we can be quite creative in coming up with a blend that will dazzle even the most finicky client come spring.

Colorblends got its start by marketing its new concept of pre-blended tulip combinations to golf courses. As a small token of thanks to our early supporters, we extend pre-approved credit to all GCSAA members. Reserve your bulbs at your convenience. We'll invoice you after delivery in the fall.
If your business is based in southern Connecticut, southern New York State, northern New Jersey or on Long Island, consider picking up your bulbs at our warehouse in Bridgeport, CT, which is just one mile from I-95.
We are pleased to extend credit, upon completion of a credit application, to customers we have done business with for several years. For the first two or three years, we request payment by credit card or pre-payment by check.
We pride ourselves on great customer service at Colorblends. We will provide honest answers to your questions and are happy to help you solve planting or design challenges. The website is open for business 24/7 and we are in the office from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm Monday through Friday from September through November and often on the weekends during that period. The phone lines tend to get tied up in September and October. If you get the voice mail, please leave a message. We'll get back to you as soon as we can, which is usually very quickly.
